The story begins when a farm boy named Eragon finds a mysterious-looking stone, which is later revealed as a rare dragon egg. The egg hatched to give birth to a dragon that he named Saphira. Eragon realized that he accidentally discovered the legacy almost as long as the entire empire itself.
However, when the cruel king comes to know about the dragon, he orders his servants to snatch it from Eragon. As a result, this young boy has to leave his town with his dragon and a storyteller named Brom. Overnight, Eragon’s whole life changes dramatically, and he gets to know a new world full of magic, power, and destiny.
With the ancient sword and the guidance of a trusty and old storyteller, Eragon is going to discover the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of the Empire. Furthermore, he also has to face the cruelty of an evil king who is willing to do anything for power. The question is, does Eragon have what it takes to carry on the legend of the Dragon Riders?
