The story begins with Juliette in jail for accidentally killing a child by merely touching him while saving his life. This seventeen-year-old girl’s touch is lethal and can easily kill anybody by simply touching it. Reestablishment decided to lock her up for almost a year and forbid her to touch anything.
The world is falling apart, war is happening, and people are too busy to notice a girl with lethal touch until she tries to harm anybody. At Reestablishment, they think that keeping her in a cell and keeping her away from everybody is the only way to keep things under control.
However, since there are humors of war happening soon, Reestablishment wants to use her as a weapon in the war. However, it is Juliette’s choice to choose between becoming a weapon or a warrior.
